StrapLog Privacy Policy
Effective October 21, 2026
StrapLog, published by Ensembio, Inc, does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to us or to anyone else.
What StrapLog records
Heart rate, beat-to-beat (RR) intervals and motion from your chest strap, plus the names, markers and notes you add. These are recorded on your iPhone.
Where it goes
Each recording is saved as a file in your own iCloud Drive (if it is on) or on your iPhone. Your Apple Watch shows the live recording, sent directly from your iPhone. Nothing is sent to us. You decide whether to share a file.
What StrapLog does not do
No account, no server, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking. StrapLog uses Bluetooth only to connect to your heart-rate sensor.
Deleting your data
Deleting a recording in the app deletes its file. Deleting the app deletes its on-device database; files in iCloud Drive remain until you delete them in the Files app.
This website
The StrapLog pages on personalscience.com, like the rest of that site, use Google Analytics to count visits: pages viewed, the referring site, device type and approximate location. This concerns the website only; the StrapLog app contains no analytics.
Children
StrapLog does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
